Start at the very beginning…

I've been grappling with something lately. How to make sense of and synthesize the immense amount of reading and listening I've been doing as I further define my own life's mission to leave the world better than I found it. I've been hungry for perspective and knowledge on this and haven't been spending as much time reflecting on what the meaning is of all these thoughts floating in my head.

This past week I was listening to Tim Ferris' excellent interview with Seth Godin. It's two hours of great conversation between two individuals I admire for their ability to live authentically with purpose, have an impact and most importantly seek to help others to do this too. Highly recommend listening to it at least once.

In this conversation, Seth puts out a challenge to those who want to be creators to start blogging daily. Not just keeping a journal, but creating something that you share with the world. It resonated with me as it represented a means of working through some of these thoughts I've had in my head while at the same time dancing with my own fear of sending something out before it might be ready.

Whomever out in the world reads this, I hope you share what you think as starting dialogue is the purpose of this for me. I also hope that this might affirm or give you courage on your path to take your turn in living a great and purposeful life.
