When I'm unsure of what to write, I tend to default to quotes that inspire and anchor me. Leonard Bernstein was a profound musician writing music that resonates well beyond his time and bringing his own and many other composers' music to life with great care, intelligence and passion. He was also an innovator, well before we used that term.
The only thing I've seen consistent across innovation frameworks is the time constraint. There are often also resource constraints there too. These constraints are the essential containers that foster new solutions. Lean into the constraints and embrace them. They are an essential part of the creative tension that brings forth great new thinking.
