Cormac Russell is one of the foremost authorities on asset-based community development. He has not only shown how to land this on the ground, but has also helped non-profit and government organizations shift their thinking and build their capacity to turn outwards and lean into their community. 

Tamarack linked to a TedTalk he did last month in Exeter. It's 18 minutes long and lands very simply what ABCD is all about. He re-confirmed much of what John McKnight said in his keynote at Deepening Community and he captured the essence of it in one simple sentence: 

"Invite people from the grassroots to identify the solution in their own words and create the solution with their own hands."
