I finished up the last 10 minutes of Where There's Smoke "Purpose" that I wrote about last week. They were wrapping up with guest Drew Daywalt (children's book author/horror movie maker/amazing human being). They always ask each guest what they would tell listeners if they were sure they would take it to heart. His answer was amazing. It was advice his Dad had given him. "Be Kind. Work Hard."
He noted it hadn't always served him the best, especially in Hollywood, but he's always followed it and his spirit is full because of it. Great filter to use all the time, especially when we're stuck or struggling with something. What's the kindest way to deal with it and how can we work harder to make it happen?
Happy Canada Day 🙂
