Decisions

Every day is a chance to make a decision differently than you did in the past. This doesn't take anything away from the validity of a past decision. We made it with the information and perspective we had at the time. We always have a chance to learn more, to shift the story, which can lead to reinforcing or totally changing a decision we've made. It's an exciting opportunity. This isn't a justification for indecisiveness. It is a call toward being intentional and open.

To allow more energy for important decisions, put some decisions on auto-pilot. What we're wearing that day, what to eat for breakfast, how to start our day, can all be  a decision we make once and then incorporate as part of a routine. President Obama owns many of the same blue and grey suit. His wardrobe is a decision he wants to make in bulk.  Our brain only has so much energy each day. Use it to focus on the stuff that matters.
