Seeing things again for the first time

Do you ever see something that you've seen many times before and yet somehow it looks different. Brighter, more vibrant, its edges sharper than they were yesterday.

I don't know if it was the rain or the very unique light we had today, but I found myself looking around and being completely fascinated by everything  I saw. It reminded me of the small shifts Al has identified for social movements. Whatever it was, the change wasn't a large one that led to me looking at things differently.  Something small between yesterday and today shifted slightly and all of a sudden the ordinary was extraordinary.
