Making Space to Grow

It's funny how if you make a gold fish's environment bigger it will grow into it. It adapts to fill the environment. Making space for ourselves and others in this same way is important. How can we expand the box to allow and encourage space to grow. Having no box at all is another question, though sometimes perhaps it is comforting to have the certainty of the box to go back into sometimes.
