Every few weeks or so I come up against a bit of struggle around content to write about. This blog for me is as much about putting my views out into the world as is it about the discipline of creation. Of intentionally putting creating and sharing things at the top of my list and keeping it there. Some times this falls apart a little though. I exhale for too long without breathing in. I lose some of that discipline and time just seems to start slipping by. I think the moments get further apart though as my artistic muscle strengthens. Here's a little piece of what I'm trying to take time to inhale.
Such determined individuals
Some say they’re nuts.
But by definition nuts are seeds, really.
Seeds of hope, for clean air, for homes,
jobs, food and schools.
But changing the world is the work of fools.
Have determined fools and nuts ever changed anything?
Why yes indeed, in fact.
