For a long time I've thought about my life, especially my career, as needing to be one thing. One profession. One job title. One path. I had an a-ha one day when a wise friend of mine said you can have more than one ball in the air at the same time. Social entrepreneurs often have more than one thing they are working on. Many ideas at different stages.
It seems very obvious to me now that of course I can make this choice, but at the time I had a little tunnel vision. My end goal is to put more love into the world. To be curious and to inspire others to be curious about themselves, other people and the world around them and hope those seeds grow into more love. The great thing about these seeds is once they take or I realize they aren't going to I can move onto something else or just stop focusing on something so much for a bit to allow time for growth.
