Some times we are in too much of a hurry and we don't set a proper foundation. That's OK when we're just trying to put a shed on top of the concrete, but as we grow and add more and more rooms we start to notice the foundation will crack or let in things that will only weaken it.
The foundation isn't always the fun part. It won't have pretty colours and it's unlikely you'll get a lot of people stopping to admire it. However, it's essential, especially in the work you're doing. Taking time to ensure you have a proper foundation can seem unimportant when there are so many other flashier things to be doing. You can get by without it, until you can't. When that due date to an important stakeholder gets forgotten or you run out of funding because you haven't quite been tracking things right. Whatever it is, it will catch up with you if you try to put a house on-top of the same foundation for a shed.
