Story Bait

I know I talk a lot about the importance of feeling things, using our hearts, etc. It's my soapbox and I proudly stand up on it. 

I was listening to someone speak today about people not digesting the information they are given by organizations. They summed it up with they just don't care. 

Either we're preaching to the wrong choir or we haven't helped them to understand they care. Either way putting out more of the same information to that audience isn't going to get us very far. We can either shift the kind of fish we're trying to attract or use different bait. My favourite bait is a story. Told by a passionate person who cares. In my experience it's the best way to get someone to open up and get curious about whatever your organization is up to.
