I'm at the end of a months long re-watch of Gilmore Girls leading up to the new episodes. In this particular episode Rory suffers some disappointments, which aren't very common for her. At first she pushes it down and tries to hide from it, which only turns into her having weird dreams and feeling worse. I'm always surprised at my own and others habit of putting feelings aside when it's really what we need to be talking about. We're so afraid of taking time away from all our productivity to address anything like this even though it will usually end up taking way longer to deal with later.
