Perspective

How often do we sit and work on developing empathy and understanding for another person's experience? To leave our own assumptions at the door and just listen to better understand them and their perspective, values and motivations.

It can be such a powerful exercise, especially for anyone trying to create a solution to a problem or bring about change in the world. It's often our own assumptions that are holding us back from the enlightenment that we are seeking. Writing these down and then comparing them against a deeper conversation with someone else can help us have valuable insights and surprises about what makes different people and ourselves tick.
