Out of my box

Sometimes being pushed out of your comfort is a really good thing. Like really outside of your comfort zone. A lot of my outside of my comfort zone comes from my friends and husband. They have varied interests and end up pulling me into them as a result. To start it's often painful, but every time I even become mediocre at these things that are so far from my definition of who Nicole is I feel stronger.

The strength helps to bleed into others things. Professionally I only tend to stretch, I have a pretty good feeling I will be good at what I'm trying in the workplace.  In a lot of these hobbies it's a leap and it reminds me of my capacity to grow and to fail while trying at something. Like big fails. Broken arms and sprained muscles that I've had to work back from and get back on the horse. It's just one of the reasons I value the diverse individuals I'm privileged to be surrounded by in my life. They see a capacity in what I can achieve that I have a blind spot to and slowly overtime they help me to see it too.
