I've loved my deep dive in courage, vulnerability and shame with Brené Brown, but felt like I needed something to balance it out. Cue the Alchemist by Paula Coelho. The book is summed up by this quote from the back cover:
It's a beautiful story about a shepherd from Spain realizing his destiny or personal legend as it is referred to in the book.
I talk a lot about when I feel as if my heart would burst with joy and gratitude. I feel like those are the times I'm living my personal legend. That I have such a strong reaction because the universe and everything around me want me to know that this is the path. Everything is conspiring to help keep me moving along the path, even if sometimes it's a winding one with some big hills.
