I hear a lot of parenting debates. Whether it's from my work with children or from family and friends who have kids, there are a lot of opinions about how to raise a kid 'right'. I feel worried just thinking about how to eventually raise a family.
Nature, nurture, formula, breast feed, attachment or any other number of options are all being thrown our way for consideration. Parenting styles change every generation (at least) and the research is always telling us different things too.
I'm back into Brené Brown now after taking a little break to indulge in some fiction. Her take on parenting is decreasing the worry for me.
While not easy, being my truest self is at least something I feel like I know more about. It also give me the best motivation in the world for striving to live into the most kind, caring and authentic version of me.
