In music you create tension that wants to be resolved. Certain chords when played in order make you physically want to hear the resolution. You actually start to hear the next harmony in your head.
Tension helps us to move forward. When we create it with a generous spirit it can be an important part of making the change in the world we want to see. It's often a necessary ingredient in change. Without it there is no impetus to act. It can propel us into the new and allow us to see the possibility of what's next.
