Our Inner Imposter

When I'm learning something new my lizard brain and my inner-imposter dialogue get a lot louder. I'm always wondering about what people are thinking about how I'm doing something or if I should have said something a certain way.

While those voices are still louder while I'm learning, I've noticed another evolution: I now have other voices that speak up. Voices that have confidence, that know perfect isn't possible and that practice self-kindness.

I don't think it's ever possible to extinguish the imposter within us; however, we can ensure that when it shows up that we're ready to dance with it. That we do not allow that voice to slow us down or change our direction. We can press on into the unknown and keep reminding ourselves that the fear is a part of the fun.
