Showing up and living our personal legend inspires others to do that themselves. We don't just live authentically and bravely for ourselves, we do it because we know we will help someone else live this way too.
A close friend of mine has raised nearly $3,000 for Habitat for Humanity and is taking part in Women Build this coming weekend. I'm humbled to say that she was inspired by my crazy bake-a-thon for charities that are close to my heart.
It's a beautiful cycle as I was inspired by Suzanne West's birthday celebrations to do my own giving back birthday celebrations. I'm also now inspired to get moving again on a few community building initiatives that I've been slacking on this spring.
