I Can’t Hide (Continued)

At the end of March a group of generous, creative and beautiful humans I am lucky to call friends, gathered with me to brainstorm about what I could do for my 33rd birthday. It was following up on the surge of momentum I had coming out of the altMBA and the success of my 32nd birthday endeavours

We came up with an idea and I've kind of been sitting on it ever since. I did a few small things to move it forward, but nothing really substantial. I've been hiding.

Yesterday I wrote about Neal Brennan calling out his hiding habit. As I was writing it I came to the hard truth that I was also hiding from my birthday planning. I've been avoiding and hiding in my "busy" personal and professional life. I've come up with so many reasons to let the resistance win.

As of today that's no longer true. It will still be a few weeks before I share anything more broadly, but today I and a couple of my dear humans spent times working on this project. I also invited many others to join in on my birthday dreaming too.

There's no turning back now. Nothing left to hide behind.

I'm all in now and the only way forward is to shine the light.
