I estimate that every four out of seven blog posts work. The other three don't. There's a continuum to them not working, but for whatever reason they don't quite sing like those other four.
I don't write that for someone to give me praise that counteracts those statements. I write it because I'm OK with that number. I wouldn't continue to devote time to this everyday if I'd already figured this out.
Daily blogging is a learning journey for me. It helps to strengthen muscles that I need to develop. It's also fun to strive for something that you know you can do well if you just keep showing up everyday and pushing yourself a little bit further.
