Our current society pushes us to consume. It encourages us to purchase many things that will likely only last us a short period of time.
What if we had more love and care of our things? Would we decide to make purchases that stand the test of time? A chair that lasts 100 years or a dress that stands a decade. This way of thinking we aren't so far removed from.
Taking the 100 year time horizon in a decision isn't easy, but just trying to use this lens can completely shift the way we think.
