As humans our natural instinct is often to try to control the outcome. We want to be assured of what will happen. This is especially true when it comes to our hearts. When we let someone into them, we want assurance that they won't be hurting us.
For better or worse, all matters of the heart are uncertain. They need space and oxygen to grow. We just have to pour in what we can and wait to see what we get back.
