This time of year the world is getting darker everyday. It feels like it's retreating. Retiring into itself to charge up before shifting to steadily let more light in as we head into a new year.
As this is happening, it's also the season of connecting with others. Holiday parties and events are abundant. It's when my ambivert-self experiences some tension. The expectation and desire to connect with others and the urge to retreat myself to get ready to leap again.
