Flipping our Mindset

A few years ago I read an article that suggested you start trying to flip the story you tell yourself. Rather than saying I had no time in the day for a, b and c, celebrate the half hour you did have for something. When we continually tell ourselves a story of why something is not possible or is deficient, we end up seeing the world that way. 

I look back to the period of my life before this and the cynicism seems so silly. I also can't believe how stuck in it I was. 

I know though that there's a path back to being an optimist and seeing the world with through a lens of potential. You just need decide to flip the story that one time and then slowly it becomes habit.
