Apparently Navy Seals have the 40% rule, which means you usually hit mental resistance at about 40% of your capacity — and that’s where most people quit.
This is totally true of me while running. Very little ability to push through that 40% in that activity.
I feel like over time though I've gotten better at pushing further and further with that percentage when it comes to personal growth and mental capacity.
What helps great stand apart from good is that push through the 40%.
