Our Negativity Shield

Negativity can be an armor. It holds us apart from others and protects us from being vulnerable. It feels like it can keep us safe from ridicule, judgement or critique.

If it becomes a tool we rely on, it can also protect us from generosity and a joyful being. Using negativity too often usually leaves us surrounded with others who have chosen the same armor. We spend a lot of time talking about the deficits of others, while usually thinking about our own in our heads.

We have the power to make a shift. What might a generous question look like rather than a negative statement? You may be right in commenting the idea isn't totally there, but consider the manner in which you do it.

And for all of those good finders out there, make sure you're extra generous when you see someone with their negative armor on, hopefully this will be the cupid's arrow that pierces through and spreads love.
