Today I attended Neighbour Grants Live Pitch Night. It's an event where 10 grassroots community projects share their ideas and then the audience votes to give away $50,000. Many individuals stood up and shared their dream in front of an audience of 200 people.
There was laughter, tears and the sharing of many stories. The more authentic people were the more the audience responded to them. It reminded me how much we connect to one another when we open up and share and how much we are all longing for that as humans.
