What’s a good decision?

I stumbled across this article on Medium from Brian Armstrong, CEO and Co-Founder of Coinbase

I always find it interesting to understand how others make decisions. What was the process? How do they move from something being identified as an issue or opportunity and turn that into a corresponding solution.

I enjoyed reading about how Coinbase goes about this. It's a little subjective of course in that there isn't necessarily a right way to make a decision. The really valuable part they shared is the below chart of the hallmarks of good and bad decision making.

Having been on both sides of this as a result of my own decision making or because of other's process, I appreciate the insight that when we start seeing things from the right side of the column pop up we need to shift quickly to consider if the decision making process we're using is really working.
