Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt returns this week for its fourth and last season. It's a show about coping with trauma and trying to figure out how you deal with it and start to figure out your life after it. It's also a comedy and since it's written by Tina Fey and her team, you can expect a lot of very clever quips, fast paced dialogue and good laughs.
One of the ways Kimmy dealt with her trauma was the idea that you can do anything for 10 seconds. By counting to 10 over and over she strings those small segments of time into the ability to push through anything.
Taking it 10 seconds at a time can be a great strategy for dealing with a big scary project or idea or just gritting through a task that's not very enjoyable for us. We can do nearly for 10 seconds.
This was the reminder I needed today! Thank you!
