It's really easy when you're in a stressful situations to bring a lot of worry on yourself.
As we deal with a fire at our rental unit this week, I'm trying to be really conscious of not worrying about a bridge we may or may not have to cross at some undefined time in the future.
It's easier said than done though. If I can just find something to distract myself for 10 seconds, I can usually release and get back to being present rather than too far ahead on the anxiety train.
