My favourite thing about learning to garden has been figuring out what to prune.
It's a bit of an experiment as I take a gamble on cutting away what I predict is taking away from the growth of the plant to hope for new growth in return.
It's a bit of an imperfect process as I'm learning, but thus far I'm feeling like my plants are better for it.
Sometimes it's all about figuring out what to let go of in order to make space for the new. I just love when nature tries to help teach us that too.
