It was a new Where There's Smoke week last week (Yay!). This episode was about environment and how it shapes us. Lots packed in to about 30 minutes of wisdom, humour and understanding. From the influence of paint colours to how different people impact who we are, it was packed full of things to think about.
The piece that stood out to me were the parts about people. That in order to level up you need to surround yourself with people you want to be like, who have done the things you want to do. People are either charging your batteries or draining them. How do you fill your life with chargers?
By having more chargers in our environment we can actually re-wire our brain. These chargers help us believe that things are possible. They help us to shed our limiting beliefs and strive to be more. Can we have the courage and conviction to remove those who drain and fill our lives with the light of people and things that charge? It's one of those scary things that hearkens back to this frequently quoted statement from Marianne Williamson.
