Have you ever thought that person wouldn't want to hear from me? Or I don't have anything valuable to offer that person. How about that person wouldn't be interested in giving me feedback on what I'm doing.
I know I have. I've started to assume though that everyone is like me. When someone asks for my help or I offer them generous insight unsolicited, I really enjoy it. As I've done it more and more over the last couple of months I've been delighted at the generosity of pretty much everyone.
So I'm trying to leave this limiting narrative behind. Assume that people are as excited to hear from and offer feedback to me as I would be for them. The world is full of generous people waiting to help.
