Moving from Newfoundland to Calgary five years ago, living up to this quote was easy. Besides a few friends from home, nearly everyone was someone new and therefore not a part of my past. It was the first time in my life I'd gotten to completely design what I was doing and who I was doing it with. I didn't have any roots in this new place.
Almost five years later, I'm trying to figure out what's a part of the past and what's a part of the future. Who was playing a leading role in the last 5-10 years and may be stepping into a supporting one now? What new characters will come forward? What's the theme in this act?
