I tuned into CBC's Spark today and stumbled upon an interview with Chris Bolin. Chris, has created a website with content that can only be viewed if you turn your wifi off.
That's right, you need to disconnect from the internet to view. Weird, right?
Not when you disconnect and read his manifesto on why. I can guarantee you can relate to his example of clicking on multiple links in an article (or in my case opening up 8 million tabs, that you'll get to "someday").
I found a huge difference in my focus when I turned off all notifications for emails, social media, etc. Here's another experiment to try out: what if I just started turning my device into airplane mode if I don't have to be online for the work?
